5 QUESTIONS FOR SOFIA
We are happy to announce that we have a new team colleague since october! Ana Sofia de Melo comes from Fortaleza in Brazil, a beautiful city with impressive beaches. She is going to support our UX/UI team with her knowledge in figma and visual studio code. Her unique designs of apps and frontends will make every customer journey as straight and successful as possible. If you got any questions about Valorant, you can go ahead and ask her too!
Hi Sofia! Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions! Tell me a bit about yourself. Where did you grow up? What are your hobbies?
My name is Ana Sofia de Melo, and I’m 23 years old. I was born in Fortaleza, the capital of Ceará, and have been living here ever since. My main hobbies are programming personal projects and playing games with friends, especially VALORANT.
Which of your new tasks here at Picalike do you enjoy the most?
My most productive work hours are when I’m programming something new, refactoring code, assisting colleagues with an issue, or redesigning an application or page. My favorite task is to program things from scratch, this way I can lead the way things are going, which I enjoy a lot.
If you could take a glimpse at the future, what would you want to see in 6 months?
I hope I’ve already fully adapted to the company and am playing an important role at picalike: being a significant addition to the team and continuing my professional growth.
Video call… Do you change for it or come-as-you-are? Why?
Since everything is done at home in the home office, sometimes our bodies can’t distinguish between work and leisure time. So, I like to wake up early, go to the gym, take a shower, have some coffee, and get minimally ready to signal to my body that it’s work time.
If we would visit you at your city, what would we do as a christmas company party?
The best option would definitely be a ‘luau’ on one of the beaches here in Fortaleza!
Thank you! And we sure hope, that soon we will be able to gather at a “luau” (gathering at the beach with live music and drinks to enjoy the night, the moonlight and the sound of the waves) on a beach of your choice! Then you have to come here to get to know our winter wonderland and the christmas fairs.
